I took the basic cable stayed bridge set up and added a windlass.
A windlass is a wheel (blue wheel) and axle. The line wraps around the axle, so when you turn the wheel, the line is pulled around the axle and whatever is tied to the line then moves.- Now it’s the leaf of the bridge.
Later Sam came up with a great idea. When the full bridge is set up with both towers and 2 leaves (decks), could we use the one windlass to raise both leaves.
